From the TUC

Who wants to be a Millionaire?

10 Jul 2009, By

Its that time of year again when the TUC National Organising Team take to the road and search far and wide for the future leaders of the union movement.  We are looking for enthusiastic, passionate, committed, hard working and creative individuals to come along to our regional development centres to start the journey

Entering its 12 year, the Academy is undergoing some major changes.  Carl Roper (National Training and Consultancy Officer) and myself have been rewriting the programme, modernising it and incoporating upto date case studies, methods and skills.  We are also signing up to a new partnership with Ruskin College starting September 2009 www.ruskin.ac.uk

We are going to be parking our wagon in Birmingham, Cardiff, Exeter, Glasgow, Liverpool, London, Newcastle and Oxford and want anyone who is interested in becoming more active to complete the application form on our web pages www.tuc.org.uk/organisation and come along to find out more about the union movement and the role of organising within it.

So, to salary.  Ok, so the heading might have been slightly misleading, you won’t be a financial millionaire but the work will make you feel like one!!
