ACT NOW to stop an Iranian trade unionist being executed
This weekend, Iranian-Kurdish activist and teacher trade unionist Farzad Kamangar is facing the threat of imminent execution. Please add your name to the Education International protest, and ask friends and colleagues to do the same.
Trade unionists in Iran, like anyone else who objects to what the regime is doing there, are facing more and more harassment, and Farzad Kamangar, who has been tortured while in prison for the nebulous crimes of ‘endangering national security’ and ‘enmity against god’, is now facing possible execution.
We need to show solidarity with our colleagues in Iran, to defend them against the regime’s cruelty and oppression, so that they can be free to decide the future of Iran. Remember – protecting trade unionists anywhere protects trade unionists everywhere.
